Device icons not lit

I installed the gofight interface for fs2020 on windows 10 but I cant get the device icons to light up when I go start the sim is in virtual aircraft . I followed the instuctions the best I could I cant even get the devices to show up on the config program or the interface . I have disabled the usb throttling and plugged it in a usb 2.0 port . The interface shows all green lights . I have 6 devices and none do anything . What could I be missing . Help please ,Ive been working on this off and on for a few days and havnt got no where . I dont give up easily and if it wasnt for the fact that some have got it working Id throw them in the trash . I wish someone would come up with a step by step tutorial on setup and how to get these working . The ones Ive seen are outdated and the polypot tutorial assumes you have a masters degree in computer science . Help if you can . Thanks

  • The polypot tutorials seem to assume a lot of prior knowledge and seem to be aimed at persons with far more knowledge than I possess.

I think you need a program called Windows 8 fixer. It is part of the original GF programs and you will find the original GoFlight programs as the last item under the downloads tab above. Download that and run it. There are instructions somewhere on this website but I can never find them. Also, make sure you go to every usb device listed in the Windows device manage and if a power management tab is available uncheck "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". Hope this helps.
