All devices have "Import" and "Export" buttons on their tabs.
These functions allow the selected devices Commands/Events, DataRefs/Variables, Actions, Values and Axes data to be imported and exported. It can be used to backup your devices configuration, but its primary use is to allow the sharing of configuration data with others.
It is important to remember that if a device has been configured with Bespoke Events and/or Bespoke Variables another system cannot load the configuration without beforehand importing the relevent Bespoke Events. See the Detective section for further information.
When clicking either button you will be presented with a File Dialog box allowing you to change the filename and where the configuration data should be saved or loaded. The file is in XML format so best to leave the XML filename extension as it is.
Import & Export functions only import and export the current devices config and not all devices as it used to do. The filenames have the device ID appended but they can be imported into any device regardless of their device ID.
