Input Actions allow customisation of how Events are used with flight sim hardware so that the response in the aircraft is as expected.
There is normally no need to apply an input action, however its usually mandatory for the PMDG NGX.
Input Actions Suitable For All Aircraft
CUSTOM: To send optional data values along with an event. The optional data value should be entered in the Custom Value field.
ENGINE_REVERSER: Use this only for buttons on the TQ6 assigned to decrement thrust or activate engine reverse thrust. It ensures the event is repeated continuously.
ROTATE: Use on rotaries that support acceleration such as the EFIS and MCP PRO. The faster the rotary is turned, the more events are transmitted. Not all rotaries support acceleration so in those cases no benefit will be seen.
REPEAT: Repeat the Input Event until the button state changes. Ideal for use with engine reverse events.
NOTHING: Apply no input action.
PMDG NGX/77X/747 Specific Actions

MOUSELEFT/MOUSERIGHT: Emulates the left and right mouse buttons being clicked on a control. Best used with GoFlight Push Buttons.
MOUSELEFT_WITH_OFF/MOUSERIGHT_WITH_ OFF: As above but sends an OFF (zero) command when the button is released. Great for 3 way switches in the NGX when you only have a two way GoFlight switch.
MOUSELEFTX2_WITH_OFF: As above but sends two mouse left clicks. Use for the APU start switch.
MOUSELEFTX2_WITH_OFF_REVERSED: As above but sends an OFF (zero) command when the button is pressed.

ONOFF_REVERSED: Sends a 0 or 1 for On and Off.
ROTATE_ONOFF: Sends a 0 or 1 for On and Off for a Rotary.
ROTATE_REVERSED: Reverses the direction of the rotary action. E.g. Use for the VS dial on the MCP.
