How To

  1. If aircraft short names have been provided, change your systems aircraft names to match.
  2. If the file to be imported is a licensed product, activate your Licence Key in the Licences menu.
  3. Backup your Documents\Virtual Flight Sim Hardware folder, in case the import has duplicate Snippets, so you can roll back the import.
  4. Select File, then Import from the Menu.
  5. Select the zip file to import.
  6. Allow the process to complete.
  7. Any duplicate Snippet names will be shown in the Log.

Rolling Back An Import

  1. Exit from the Virtual Hardware Builder and the Flight Sim IO Server.
  2. Delete or rename Documents\Virtual Flight Sim Hardware directory.
  3. Using a backup of Documents\Virtual Flight Sim Hardware, copy your backed up files and directories to Documents\Virtual Flight Sim Hardware.
  4. Delete the image directories relevant to the imported products in User Components, User Modules, User Device Panels and User Device Panel Groups of C:\ProgramData\Virtual Flight Sim Hardware (Do not confuse this directory with Documents\Virtual Flight Sim Hardware)
