GIT for XPlane cannot be closed on exit

I'm using the current version of GIT for XPlane. I'm using the ZBIO mod with the configuration file from Manikandan Venkataramanan. On exit, the GIT XPlane hangs up and does not shut down. I have uninstalled, deleted the documents file with prior configurations, deleted all my GIT modules (P3D, MSFS 2020, FSX SE), deleted the appdata/local/Polypot folder. Nothing has fixed the problem. Now I have it messed up. Manikandan Venkataramanan's config file will not detect the EFIS panel.

Any thoughts on how to fix???

Thanks,

Rich

  • Is it only with this aircraft?

Is the EFIS import tickbox not available?

  • Hi Steve,

First question, no. It's not limited to the Zibo Mod. GIT XPlane does not exist using the Felis B747 and the IXEG B737.

Second question, no. The EFIS import box was not present so that might be the reason.

I did another uninstall and will try to reinstall. I'm going to use the other Zibo configuration option.

    thanks!

  • Hi Steve,

Same issue today with GIT XP. The EFIS import tickbox was available. I was setting up the MCPPro and EFIS to work with the HotStart CL650. I have to say their extensive set of custom assignments made it a piece of cake. Everything is pretty much set up. I have a few items to complete.

Anyway... Still having issues with GIT XP not being able to close after closing X Plane. Should I shutdown GIT first, and then shutdown X Plane?

    Thanks for your help!
