P3D 2.5 and the new P3D PMDG NGX - Landing Gear Handle
P3D 2.5.12944.0 GIT 2.1.10.0 GoflightCFG 2.25 PMDG NGX 1.14
Never saw this before, but now the landing gear handle does not function properly. I take off and raise the GoFlight handle and the gear goes up. I move the GoFlight handle to the mid-position and it moves to the middle on the screen... I move the GoFlight handle to lower the gear and nothing handles.... I have to move the GoFlight handle back to the full up position and then back to the down position to get the gear to go down on the panel.
Perhaps PMDG has changed some code on the landing gear handle with the new P3D version?

Hi Mike,
Read the LGT section of the user guide here: http://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git/19-operating/36-configuring-goflight-devices-additional-information-pmdg-ngx.html
The operation is correct to handle the 3 positions.
Best wishes
Steve
Thanks Steve!..........
Hi Steve,
I don't know if this was a fluke or something really acting up. With GIT 2.1.10.0 it appeared my Goflight landing gear lever was not acting as it should per your documentation, but I installed GIT 2.2.11.0, and it worked correctly.
Mike
Hi Mike,
If you run a configuration in GFConfig with the LGT enabled it overrides anything that GIT does, hence why people sometimes see the behaviour or sometimes not.
It's really important to have a clean un-configured config loaded in GFConfig for correct GIT operation.
Best wishes
Steve
