GIT not working correctly with PMDG737 in MFS2020

Good Day Steve
May I first thank you for the hard work you have done to enable us to use our MCPpro.
The GIT works partially on some of the generic aircraft in MFS2020 but I am having issues using it with PMDG 737
The MCPpro transmits data to the 737 aircraft when turning the knobs and switches on the MCP but the MCP display is stuck at 257 and 0000’s for everything else and fail to change.
I have installed and reinstalled GIT and have made hundreds of attempts to find a solution but I can not.
The GIT interface seems to function normally for Generic aircraft but when I load PMDG 737 many of the menu items are greyed out.
When Loading the 737 the GIT Status Menu DIO - Deactivate - Restart are all greyed out
So are the menu items for buttons/switches/Rotaries/displays on GIT Mcppro menu
This is only the case when I load PMDG737 aircraft. the menus are not greyed out with generic aircraft
After 3 days of continuous loading …deleting …reinstalling I have had enough. I am sure there is a simple solution to this which i am missing. I must say there is nothing wrong with MCPRO because it works perfect on a separate bootable partition under FSX. I have also checked the PMDG 737 Options.ini file and the SDK suggests its at (1).
I would be obliged for any assistance you can give. Thank you.

  • I have the same issue, it was working just fine until PMDG did the 737-700 update on June 24, I reached out to PMDG and they said that Pollypot needs to update software, hope we get a solution soon.

    Thank you

    Rob
  • Dear Rob. Thank you so much. After 3 days trying to fix this I am glad its not only me that has this issue. You are right.. It stopped working after the latest PMDG 737 update.
    Again ...Many thanks.
  • Guys Steve is waiting for the interim SDK from PMDG so he can fix this issue. It is reported elsewhere on other threads.
  • Thanks Dr_Eddie
  • Just got an email from Rob Randazzo at PMDG who said there was a miscommunication and I was overlooked. I now have the SDK, but he has warned me that further updates will probably break the SDK again.

Expect a new GIT version ASAP.

    Best wishes
    Steve
  • New version of GIT now available that supports PMDG 737 with updates. Let me know of any issues.

    Best wishes
    Steve
  • Works like a charm :)
    Thanks Steve.
