For those still having issues, confirm the plugin exists in plugins\resources.
Any winsock error showing in the log, is due to the host setting in Lua Config.txt located in Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool. This must be set to your ip address of your PC. This will cause a massive delay in the aircraft LED on the GIT Status tab going green.
DO NOT INSTALL GIT WITH X-PLANE RUNNING!

Just got issues with my GF166A and my GS-45's were the displays don't work, the rotary and buttons of the GF166 work fine, but I think that is probably not related to GIT but with my new computer, the powered USB hubs, USB 3.2 gen 2, ...
[Update] Issue was I copied the folder GoFlight from my old computer. I now downloaded the setup (which contains also the drivers), and that solved the issue.
