Go Flight Interface tool & PMDG 737/777

Dear Steve,

I have the Go flight PMDG Interface tool, however, have some problems to set it up and Im wondering as it is not anymore supported, to move to the Goflight Interface tool and donate some €.

Anyway, my question is that if I use the tool, am I able to configure for example the T7 fuel pump switches to a goflight push button module P8? Or the Hydraulics for example to a RP48 etc?

Im sorry if this has been asked already or whether it is obvious, however I did not manage to find this information from the manual and as the product page says : "Full integration with the PMDG 737 NGX and 777 SDK's" and "Configure all Simconnect events and variables (data) to all supported GoFlight hardware" im not really familiar whether the events and variables includes eg the fuel pump switches etc.

Would appreciate if you (or anyone else who knows) could shed some light on this

Many thanks

Best regards

Thomas

  • Hi Thomas,

The Goflight PMDG Interface is discontinued. The Goflight Interface Tool does everything the Goflight PMDG Interface did and much more.

Yes you can configure the T7 fuel pumps and hydraulics to Goflight hardware.

    Best wishes

  • Hi Steve,

Many thanks for your fast reply. This is excellent news, i can now forget fsuipc for this bit and wont need to write lua's to make a led light

  • Hi Steve,

Had some problems posting the earlier comment, hence two of the same... Anyways, just spent 2 hours fiddling with the interface tool and it indeed looks splendid!

You soon have a donor, great job!

A question though, is there any way to make the 3 landing lights switches on the T7 overhead, to be able assigned to a one GF toggle switch? At least at the first try looks like each switch has to be assigned to its own switch, so a workaround I found is to use FSUIPC for a key press (for all 3 switches) and then use the led light via the interface tool:)

And a second question would be, is there a way I can use the same GF toggle switch panel for both the T7 and NGX? or any other aircraft and make different assignments for a switch in each aircraft?

For example, If I want to use the T8 for the NGX as hyd pump switches and for the T7, I would want to assign the switches to outside lights?

Anyway, Im a happy camper, finally an easy way to make the GF panel work!

    Thanks!

  • Hi Thomas,

I will need to make a specific cluster event to do the 3 light switches. I'll add it to the development list for the next release.

Yes, you can assign different functions for the T7, NGX and different aircraft. GIT recognises what aircraft is loaded in the flight sim and loads an aircraft specific config (or creates a blank one if its the first time the aircraft has loaded).

  • Good Morning Steve,

Many thanks for fast reply, again! :)

Wow, this is great news! In the meantime, I will use FSUIPC for the landing light switch and led via the interface tool.

Also great to hear that it is aircraft specific, truly amazing piece of software!

    Best regards
