MCPPRO Display Issues/Long Delays

Hello, I'm using GIT version 2.1.13.0 in P3D 2.5.

I'm having an issue where my MCPPRO will either stops updating it's display on the unit to match the sim or will have a very long delay (several minutes) in updating what's displayed in the sim.

For example, if my autopilot is set to a heading of 180, and I dial in 200, the autopilot in the sim will change to 200, but the MCPPRO will still display 180.  Sometimes the heading on the display will remain at 180, sometimes it will change to 200 after several minutes.

On my flight tonight it was working normally for the first part of the flight (takeoff, setting cruise alt, setting heading to intercept the NAV course), but then at some point along the cruise it reverted to what I've described above.  I'm not sure exactly when as I was in cruise and not making autopilot adjustments. 

When this issue is happening the GIT usr interface is very very slow to respond.  It almost seems like it's frozen but if you click on another tab it will eventually respond within a few minutes.

I tried reinstalling both GFI and the GFconfig and that did not fix the issue.  GFconfig is set to compatible add-on.

Here is a sample of my log file, I won't post the whole thing as it's very long.  This was in the Milviz B55 using standard FS Functions.

    Hi Dave,

    I need more information:

    - All the slider values in your Settings tab.

    - The slider values on the MCP PRO tab.

    - Has this happened in previous versions of GIT or has it only just started.

    - Are you using FSUIPC.

    - Are you noticing any of your Goflight hardware resetting (all the lights cycling as they do during PC boot up).

    - If possible the events in the log when the issue starts.

    This was happening with a previous version, I updated to the current version during my troubleshooting

    This continues until the problem began to appear around 22:12 in this case.  There are a lot of the error above repeated again and again and again...I almost wonder if the error being reported so many times is overloading something?  I can send the full log (or post here) if that's helpful, but it's a lot of lines of text.

    Hi Steve, the issue has been consistent with every aircraft I've tried since the issue first appeared, that would be the Milviz B55, Realair Turbine Duke, and PMDG NGX. 

    Where can I find those two files you mention?

    H Dave,

    I have just tried your files with the Duke V2 (I assume that's the version you have?) and I saw no exceptions.

    I was only running GIT and P3D with no additional addons such as external weather engines, FSUIPC etc. I'm wondering if you are using an addon that is clashing with GIT? Could you try GIT with a "clean" version of P3D. The other thing to check is that the Goflight Interface Module.dll file is loaded and running by seeing if Detective is useable.

    Hi Steve, it would be challenging to try with a clean P3D.  I'll try running detective to confirm the .dll is running.  The other thing I'll try is disabling some other addons one by one and hopefully I can figure out what is interfering with GIT.  One theory I have is that perhaps the VRS SUperbug/Tacpac is causing some issues.  When that was released I spent most of my simming time for while using only that aircraft (which I don't use GIT with) and then when I went back to flying GA aircraft I started having the issues...not sure if anyone else out there is running the Superbug/Tacpack and GIT happily side by side?  I think that during my GIT hiatus there was also an update released for ASN,so I'll try disabling that too...

    I decided to test my hypothesis tonight by going into my dll.xml fiel and disabling the tacpack file "Modules\VRS_TacPack\VRS_TacPack.dll".  Based on a 15-minute test, this seems to have fixed the issue (the issue usually cropped up after only a few minutes previously).  I'm going to do some longer flights tomorrow to confirm, but it looks like there may be some sort of conflict between tacpack's dll and GIT.

    It might be worth testing to see if the loading order changes anything e.g. load the Goflight Interface Module.dll before or after VRS_TacPack.dll.
