not functional

i have installed everything, time and again.. what gets me is the install instructions are ,, to me kind of vague .. when installation is done the mcp pro still will not work . When it does work and i turn altitude dial it runs away and keeps climbing even after i stop turning knob or if i do course change and say i want to go right from 0 to 90 it just runs away and goes all the way around and keeps doing that until i unplug the mcp pro .. i have tried uninstalling multiple times and reinstalling .. hence the use of multiple licenses .. apparently there is no way to completely remove the program and reinstall. i uninstall from programs but pollypot software still shows up in apps and registry and i dont want to touch the registry and risk messing something up ... Can i suggest you make a "1 unit package " that auto installs it all to the correct folder, or at least lead me in the right directon as to exactly where each item needs too be installed

  • The running away could be a couple things. Confirm its not a hardware fault by using GoFlights MCP Pro testing software: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AvmOqBMETlayh9ZQUzSikUTgvmwIyw?e=xGIgM8 This will show if your rotaries are jumping all over the place which will mean your rotary encoders need replacing.

Secondly make sure you do not have the MCP Pro configured in GoFlights own software (GFConfig) - it should be set for compatible addon for the sim you are using.

To fully uninstall, run the uninstall program and then delete Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool (this will remove your aircraft configs) and then delete C:\Users\your username\AppData\Local\PollyPot_Software

Let me know what sim you are using and what aircraft so I can help you further.

    Best wishes
    Steve
