What kinds of things can the RP-48 be used for besides controlling a weather radar?

    I have two RP48's. One is my autopilot with a knob for altitude, one for heading and another for course. The fourth was for auto throttle (when I flew on FSX) which is unused now. The buttons are used to select the autopilot modes; HDG, NAV, APR, VS, AND FLC. I use a companion GF46 to control radio frequencies, VS and FLC speed. The second FP48 is used to switch frequencies (standby to active). Some of the buttons and knobs remain unused since the point and click in the cockpits are pretty easy to use. I have been working on programming the FBW Airbus controls but have trouble uncovering all of the VARS and EVENTS. I hope we get the new Detective soon.
