brakes

still no brakes with CH Prod pedals.  I have the rudder working fine.  I set up the other axes, and GIT does see the brakes and can calibrate them, but do not have any effect.  The red "differential brakes" and "brakes" badge comes on too, but still no effect.

Cant seem to stop the beast no matter what.  It has to just slow down on her own.

any ideas? I'm sure you have seen this before, but when I do a search of the forum, nothing comes up for "brakes"

  • Hi,

Have you clicked the reverse axis option for the brakes axis only?

    Best wishes

    Steve

  • I figured it out.  I had to go into the "maintenance" in the FMC.  While setting everything up I caused some damage to the breaks because I was not really flying for real, I was just making sure switches and other things worked.  I had to reset everything in the failures/maintenance part of the FMC.
  • but now I have the "constant" brake error that others speak of on this forum and the PMDG forum.  I gotta go figure that one out now.
