GFIT MSFS2020 GoFlight Status red

Hello, Steve, GFIT was working well until a MSFS2020 CTD and after a restart I can no longer use the GFIT software, using MSFS2020, WIN10 all updated and latest GFIT version 4.81, tried with several AC's - no help, the GoFlight Status Indication is steady red.

After starting MSFS and GFIT the Goflight Status remains red steady, Simconnect green steady and AC flashing red. I have checked the GFDev64.dll - it is located in the same directory as the Goflight Interface Tool MSFS.exe as well as FlightSim IOLua.exe and other files. Then I have done a complete re-install, checked the community folder for the WASM module, it is there and the PMDG broadcast entry in the option.ini is also set to 1. All GFIT tabs greyed out except Settings/Log and Status, no modules indicated above the status indicator. Several new-installations did not solve the problem unfortunately, seems the GFDev64.dll will not be recognized... but I'm not sure, Checked also with the previous GFIT version, same bahaviour as with 4.8.1. The GFIT can only closed via task manager / stop (kill) task. See the log.file, after starting LUA nothing will happen, LUA windows itself can be opened, and of course several PC restarts and MSFS resets completed, no effect at all.

At the moment I have no more ideas how to solve the problem, please advise how to proceed.
Thank you and best regards Ralf

Tested something and found GFIT working with non-PMDG planes (MD11 and Caravan for example) but not when starting with PMDG's. When after MSFS start with non-PMDG and then switching to B777 or B737 PMDG - these are working fine without issues. But can't start them initially, then same behaviour as above with same logfile. I have no further ideas at the moment, PMDG.xml was deleted, replaced installed fresh but no change. Please advise, best regards Ralf
  • further tested and reinstalled PMDG's and GFIT. No help - if GFIT is started after PMDG AC is loaded - it will not work, for all other AC's it is ok. When I start GFIT prior starting MSFS, then GFIT is working with PMDG AC's correctly, GF status indicator is green all the time, and I can do a restart whenever needed in the sim. It seems to be not the right procedure to handle the GFIT, with PMDG start prior MSFS start and with all other whenever AC is loaded. Something went wrong here and is blocking the GFIT function after LUA was loaded , but I'm out at this point and waiting for Steve to help me in the right direction... Best regards Ralf
  • ...still the same behaviour: GFIT for PMDG has to be started prior MSFS, for all other after loading AC.
