Can't use GIT after conversion to Win11

After converting to Win11, GIT will not open and will not accept my user key.

  • It definitely works on Windows 11. Check all the relevant dependent software is installed OK - see https://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git/16-installation/16-system-requirements.html

It may be worth deleting the license files from the GoFlight Interface Tool directories in C:\ProgramData.

If no error message is showing, check Windows logs for any error messages that appear after trying to run GIT.

Also check you have full security access to the GIT installation directory.

  • Thanks. Would it make sense to delete GFIT and reinstall? All I did was run the Microsoft conversion tool to change 10 to 11. BTW I should have said I'm using MSFS 2020.
  • This is what I'm getting when I try to log in and register the program.

  • I have reset your install count.

  • That's all it took. I wonder why the conversion to Win11 caused the problem.
