PMDG 777 - SECM - Flaps Decr not working...
I seem to be having a problem with SECM and PMDG 777 in P3D.
The BUTTON_FLAPS_UP ... couldn't get this to decrement flaps by one position ... FLAPS_DECR didn't work ... even tried MOUSERIGHT for Input Action, still no go.
I was able to get BUTTON_FLAPS_DOWN to work but I had to set Input Action to MOUSELEFT.
Any hints?
Cheers, Rob.

Hi Rob,
I have just tried FLAPS_DECR and FLAPS_INCR with nothing else set on a T8 and it worked OK. If you still have the problem I'll dig out my SECM to see if there is an issue.
I assume other commands work on the SECM flap switch OK?
Best wishes
Steve
Hi Rob,
There may be a bug in the SECM. Its odd because all the devices use the same core code. I'll dig mine out and give it a whirl at the weekend.
The ABORT event will shut down the flight sim - quote from Simconnect events:
To remove an event, change the event to "BLANK".
Best wishes

Hi Rob,
Just tried my SECM in P3D with the 777 and the flaps worked fine. Two thoughts:
- check you haven't assigned anything to the OFF and HOLD events for the Flaps Up and Flaps Down input events.
- check there are no shorts on the back of the SECM. I've seen odd behaviour caused by shorts on the MESM and EFIS in the past.
If that doesn't solve it, attach your pmdg.xml config file for me to try/examine.
Best wishes
Steve
