Hi,
The first few things to check are that you have installed the Goflight drivers (they are available on Goflights support web page), that GIT is installed in the same directory as the Goflight drivers and the backend dll has been installed by you - details here: http://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git/16-installation/14-installation.html

Simconnect yellow LED is just a warning that an exception has been received. The details will be in the Log tab, but most of the time it can be ignored.
The TQ6 when used with the PMDG 737 and 777 automatically configures the buttons so long as you have enabled the device. Thus all the button options are disabled.
If you wish to configure the axis you need click the Configure Axes button on the TQ6 and follow the appropriate steps. Obviously either use FSUIPC or GIT for the axes but NEVER both!
If you wish to use FSUIPC for axes, use my guide listed under the Support website menu. If you wish to use TQ6 for axes, read this http://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git/19-operating/25-configuring-joystick-devices.html

Hi Bob,
How does the throttle behave in Game Controllers when you move the axis - is there lots of spiking/random behaviour. How do the axis work with just FSUIPC running and no GIT running?
Best wishes

When you restart, what are your restarting? After the restart, check FSX, Settings, Calibration, Enable Controllers is unticked. Check in GFConfig that nothing is configured for the TQ6. Do not have GIT running....all should be OK then.
If not, attach your fsuipc.ini file from FSX\Modules.

GFConfig is not the data bridge which is the program that starts automatically. GFConfig is a configuration program of the Goflight drivers. It creates a config that is read by the data bridge.
You can of course also just kill the data bridge to make sure the Goflight drivers are not attempting to control the TQ6.
