GFIT Warning message

I recently installed and subsequently uninstalled FSX:SE.  Now when running FSX (Boxed) and launching GFIT , I get a Warning box stating that FSX:SE ini file not found, PMDG operations file cannot be checked/updated. Followed by another warning for Prepar3d (which I have neer installed) Prepar3D registry AppPath entry not found, PMDG options cannot be checked/updated.   In Settings, Enable Prepar3D is unchecked
After hitting OK, it seems that my GF hardware is not properly working.

Here is a log snippit:

I've tried an complete uninstall of GFIT but no joy.  Short of a re-install of FSX:SE, how can I get rid of this message?

Thanks
Kevin

  • Hi Kevin,

Untick "Enable for FSX" (its checks FSX SE also) and "Enable for Prepar3D" on the Settings tab. These tick boxes simply check for PMDG aircraft entries in the relevant simulators.

    Best wishes

  • Wow do I feel stupid.  That was a petty simple solution.
    Thanks for your help Steve
