MCP-Pro Unrecognized_Id Error

Hi,

i just installed my MCP-Pro and ver 2.2.5.0 of the GF Config program.  I then installed ver 2.1.14.2 of the Inteface Tool. Both programs are instaled on my G: drive.  I start the interface tool and then start FSX.  The Status shows 3 green lights.  I then select and load the PMDG 737 and the SimConnect light goes yellow and the Aircraft light goes flashing green.  Most things seem to work with the exception of the N1 and APP butttons.  There is an "Unrecognized_id" error in my log (see below).  I also notice that some of my keyboard commands don't work (e.g., Control + "." no longer sets the parking brake. Also, the Detective button is not active.  Any help would be appreciated.

  • Hi,

The UNRECOGNIZED_ID error can be ignored. A yellow light just signifies an error has been received; only worry if it goes red.

N1 and APP only work if the FMS and AP is configured correctly.

I don't know why your keyboard commands are not working. Do they work without GIT running?

Detective works with all aircraft except the PMDG NGX and 77X as theses planes have full integration of the PMDG SDK's built in.

    Best wishes

    Steve,

Thanks for the quick reply.  I guess I was confused about the N1 and APP buttons because, in the VC, if you click on them you see the depress animation regardless of the FMS and AP configuration. Regarding the keyboard commands, they seem to be working now but I'm sure that when I first checked them they were inoperative whenever the GIT was running.  Maybe rebooting cleared the problem.  Anyway, I'll keep an eye on them and let you know if it happens again.

Thanks for all your work. Your program made going from having the MCP-Pro in its shipping box to having it fully operational in the NGX so simple that even I could do it in less than 30 minutes.  I hate to think how long it would take to program each of the controls individually.  I hope that you will consider upgrading the program to function in the new PMDG 747 when it's released.
