Hallo,
The FAQ is very clear about OUT_OF_BOUNDS, I think I know what to to, but perhaps I mis something. I almost dear to ask:
I have my dll.xml in C:\Users\dick\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2
It got the right lines, So I think:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>
<SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0">
<Descr>Launch</Descr>
<Filename>dll.xml</Filename>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>

</Launch.Addon>
</SimBase.Document>
<SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0">

<Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad>
<Launch.Addon>

<Path>Modules\FSUIPC4.dll</Path>
</Launch.Addon>

And still I have "SimConnect: Exception Received: OUT_OF_BOUNDS".
Who can help me to make this program work on my PC?
Thanks,
Dick
Comments
Hi Dick,
Sometimes this error appears regardless of the module not running. Have you tried Detective to see if that works OK?
Best wishes
Steve

The errors don't necessary signify a problem.
Does detective work with the Bonanza? Detective will not work with the NGX and 77X and the SDK is used instead.
If numbers are incorrect, check GFConfig and ensure compatible add-on has been selected for the MCP.

Hi Dick,
If you use FS Default make sure no Functions are assigned otherwise it will clash with GIT. Alternatively us the Project Magenta setting.
Detective is disabled when the Goflight Interface Module is not loaded or the aircraft does not have its cockpit visible.

Hi Steve,
I am getting exactly the same problem as described above. Have tried 2 clean installs of v2.1.15.0 and get OUT_OF_BOUNDS error, all other GFiT options such as detective are greyed out.
Reverted back to 2.1.14.2 and all seems to be working again

Thanks Mark, looks like a bug has been introduced.
Hi Dick,
Yes that's correct.
I assume so, but only two people have reported the problem so far. I don't keep the old versions. You'll have to ask on the forum if someone can send it to you or wait for me to track down the bug and do a new release.
Best wishes
Steve
I suspect the X-Plane code has introduced a bug - still haven't tracked it down. Stay with the old version if you can.

Steve
Can everyone with this bug, list their Goflight hardware and if you have joysticks in GIT enabled see if the bug goes away by unticking Enable Joysticks in the settings tab.
Thx
Steve
Something to try, install this:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145
Thx
Steve
Did you install the 32bit version?
Thx
Steve
Yes, the Goflight Interface Module is a 32bit C++ application.
Thx
Steve
Great. It looks like I accidently recompiled the module with Visual Studio 2015 and didn't include the 2015 runtime in the installer.
I'll update the installer and get a new release out at the weekend.
Thanks
Steve
New version of GIT uploaded which fixes this problem.

Steve
Hi Dick,
The lights and displays will not show anything until you configure them. Have you pressed the FS Default button on the MCP Adv and enabled the device for example.
The NGX and 77X do not use Detective as the PMDG SDK's are built in - this is why its disabled.
Best wishes
Steve
