  • I have that document printed out, but cannot access Detective as it is greyed out.

    I am using version 2.1.17.0

    Thanks for prompt reply.  Roger
  • Hi Roger,

I would upgrade to the latest version of GIT and as per the FAQ entry I mentioned, confirm that the GoFlight Interface Module.dll is loading.

    Best wishes

    Steve

  • Although  web page shows 2.18.. as latest download. when using drop box I get 2.17...

    Roger
  • Thanks, fixed now.
  • Not sure I am making much progress.
Load up P3D V3.1 and A320, . All modules and switches are grey.  Also no aircrraft recognised.
Go to ADD-ons in P3D and GoFlight interface tool shows.  Also a restart tab, click this and get.

Mode Generic Aerosoft Airbus A320 IAE. All switches etc are grey. L and R buttons are grey/red. Middle is green and then goes steady yellow.

Now beyond me a pal (MCP) hopes to come up next week and try for me, so any tech advice appreciated which I am sure he will understand.

    Regards  RogerHollands
  • Try running GIT as administrator.

    Best wishes

  • That makes no difference.  Seems to me that V3.1 "recognises" GIT but none of the modules are being recognized.  I hope to have more info after my pal has had a look.

    Happy new year.  Roger
  • Unfortunatly my pal has to go away on business so I have had a play!
Downloaded the GoFlight config tool (2.26.1) and BINGO all my modules are recognized and I have programmed a couple of functions on each module and the A320 reacts to them.
    Modules are: EFIS  WP-6  T8-2   RP48

It therefore seems to me that GIT is not compatable with LM P3D V3.1

    over to you!
    Regards  Roger
  • Hi Roger,

It does work with P3D v3. Myself and many people are using it OK. You only need GIT for custom/hidden aircraft functions for complex non standard aircraft. If GFConfig does everything you need then that is the route to go.

If you have only just downloaded the GoFlight drivers then I suspect that has been the problem all along. These needed to be installed along with GIT into the same directory.

    Best wishes

  • Both products in the same folder.
Double click GIT and computer is locked, cannot close git only option to switch off computer.  Have tried several times with same result.

    Regards  Roger
  • This is a known problem on some machines. You need to use these slightly older drivers from GoFlight: https://www.dropbox.com/s/txy23id0n7nqbck/GFConfigSetup_2_25_2.zip?dl=0

    Thx

    Steve

  • Steve.  Thanks for your patience and tech knowledge. Seems to be OK now.  SHMBO wants to go shopping this pm so will try and load the a320 stuff this pm.
