MCP Pro numbers accelerate rapidly

Hi,

Using P3Dv3, the P3D NGX, and the latest GoFlight drivers and the latest GoFlight Interface Tool, I have good function with all of my GoFlight devices except the MCP Pro.  The numbers display properly and the buttons work correctly, however the numbers change extremely rapidly.  If I turn the heading knob one click a second, it'll change by 1 number at a time.  If I turn it about 2 clicks a second, it'll change once by 1 and then by 5 a click.  If I turn it faster, it just grows exponentially pretty much.  It's made the knobs completely unusable.

I see no real errors in the log, just a duplicate thing which seems as if it should be ignored.

Any thoughts?  Need any more information?  Happy to provide more detail.

    Hmm, it looks like it may have stopped doing this.  A new problem has developed, the TOGA and AT Disconnect buttons on my throttle seem to have reversed.  I'll try to play around with the settings a bit and report back.

    Hi Stefan,

    Some aircraft implement control acceleration, but don't turn it off. The PMDG 77X is one for example. This is when you will see the +5/-5 incrementing. It can happen using GoFlight drivers as well as GIT and with other hardware/drivers. If it regularly occurs with a specific aircraft, it can be sometimes be resolved by using the faulty control in the VC. If not create bespoke events for the controls that error and send the event CTRL_ACCLERATION_DISABLE before the appropriate simconnect event.

    For the TQ6 issue, change the GF-THR 737 Handles option on the TQ6 tab. Quit the interface and then reload it.

    Hi,

    The control acceleration seems to be my fault - it happens when the sim is paused, but not when it's active.  I was doing some testing with it paused which was a poor idea in retrospect.

    As far as the TOGA and A/T Disengage buttons being swapped, I've tried both settings for the GF-THR_737 handles and no joy on either setting - they're reversed no matter what.  I haven't changed any other settings.

    They did work properly before I was using the Interface Tool, and as I'm not doing anything else with the throttles there, I may just leave them for GFConfig to deal with by disabling them and see if that works.  Otherwise, if you have other testing/debug steps you'd like me to do, let me know and I'm happy to do so.

    That's odd; that setting does swap the buttons around. Did you quit and reload GIT after you changed the setting? Also make sure you do not have any other software controlling those buttons.
