Unable to get GoFlight switches to function
Trying to get some of my GoFlight switches to work in the Dash.
Listed below are the steps taken up to the point where I fail!
The first steps up to the point where you activate a switch are a given.
I have chosen the Logo Light as my first attempt.
Once operated PAUSE the monitor list and note the entry(ies) for the switch.
I have then added an event " LOGO_light_ON ( using lower case to spot my entry later ). I then click OK
Then the variable detected button clicked and the event OHD_EXT_LT_LOGO_SW
ticked and highlighted.
Then I click "set and enter the Lvar value 1 from LH monitor list. In this case a 1 click OK
entry in bottom RH field is OHD_EXT_LT_LOGO_SW=1
I click the "test" button and bingo the Logo switch operates.
Back to GIT and theT8 switch panel.
From drop down menu I select LOGO_light_ON, switch action ONOFF. Nothing happens
I have also as a separate try clicked the "send" button in Detective. Now when I operate the switch the T8 dropdown menu starts to scroll through all the options.
I must be doing something silly. Can you help.

The switch action should be NOTHING for Bespoke Events. Your event should be assigned to the ON state. You will need another event which sets LOGO_light_ON to zero and assign this to the OFF state.

Where you have configured the T8 Switch click on the drop down arrow next to ON and change it to OFF. Assign your logo switch off Bespoke Event next to it.

"drop down menu starts to scroll through all the options" - The drop down menu of what? Flight Sim?
The scrolling isn't correct but everything else is.

That's odd. I know there can be display problems if you have GIT sat over the Flight Sim window.

Attach the contents of My Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool as a zip file for me to look at.
Thx

Everything looks OK and I'm not sure why GIT starts scrolling unless changing the lvars is causing the Q400 to start transmitting arrow down for some reason and GIT is picking it up.
There are two guides for creating Bespoke Events for the Q400 using Majestics SDK. This is how slayer did his work for the MCP and EFIS. They are:
