SOLVED! - GIT 2.1.19.5 lockup with GF 2.26.1
I know several folks were having issues when using both GF 2.26.1 and more recent GITs - see discussion here.
After installing Steve's latest 2.1.19.5 and using current GF 2.26.1, I had the same GIT lockup problem. I was also having a power cycle issue (LEDs on my RP48 or P8 or T8 would continuously do follower the leader lights).
So I disconnected All my USB devices and started plugging them back in one at a time (very tedious) and then I'd bring up GIT which to my surprise was working (not locked up) ... so I repeated the process checking GIT after each device plug in, and bingo when I plugged in my MESM, GIT locked up and the power cycle started.
I'll pass this info along to GoFlight on Monday IF I can get a hold of them. But if others have this issue, try disconnecting your MESM. Or if it's just a device issue, try the diagnostic steps I did above to isolate the problem.
Cheers, Rob.
