GIT Error - Unable to Load Bespoke Events: Index was outside the bounds...

Hi,

Im experiencing an error where every time I load GIT with P3D running,  it is displaying:

"Unable to Load Bespoke Events: Index was outside the bounds of the array. TAKE A COPY OF YOUR SETTINGS BEFORE DOING ANYTHING ELSE."

I have installed V 2.1.19.5 using P3D V3.2. I have 3 green buttons in GIT and Im using the P3D default aircraft, Beech King Air 350.
I only have 2 x GF166 modules connected.

I have no saved configs or bespoke events for any aircraft.
After clicking OK on this dialog, I am not able to click on the 166 tab.  Status shows 2 166 modules connected.

The log doesnt seem to show any errors.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled GIT, but experience the same error.

Any ideas what might be causing this.

David

  • Hi David,

It sounds like a corrupt file. Try renaming bespokeevents.xml to bespokevents-off.xml and then try loading GIT again.

    Best wishes

  • Hi Steve,

There are no files present in "My Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool" directory.

I have uninstalled, removed that directory, reinstalled, started GIT, accepted the T&C, and then experienced the same error.
The "My Documents\GoFlight Interface Tool" was recreated during the install, but once again, there are no files to be found in that directory.

  • I'll take a look at the code this evening and replicate your situation to see if I can track the problem down.

  • Hi David,

I have tried to recreate this issue without success. The error message is an indication that GIT is attempting to import a settings file.

Can you go into Users\<your username>\AppData\Local and delete any PollyPot Software directories you find in there. Note AppData is a hidden directory.

Next search your entire system for BespokeEvents.xml and delete any occurrences of the file. Also check for BespokeVariables.xml in the same place and delete that as well.

Then try GIT again, running it as administrator.

    Thx

    Steve
