Hello!

every time i open my goflight interface tool and then i click on the fsx icon an error apears (atteched below), and mcp is not working well, every knob works fine but the windows show only a lot of cero numbers.

everything was working good with  the Goflight PMDG interface tool, i dont know why it is not working with this program.

i have mcp pro and efis, my operating system is win7 64bits.

i hope you can help me!

thanks,
Nico.

  • Hi Nico,

The error is related to GFDevFSX which is the Goflight Inc driver software and I do no use or reference that particular program at all. I only reference GFDev.dll from GoFlight.

If the PMDG Interface was working OK and GIT is not, I suspect you may not be running the very latest version of the NGX/77X. GIT is always built to work with the latest version only.

    Best wishes

    Steve

  • hello Steve, i thought you were right but its defeniltly the interface tool i just installed the demo version for X-plane and as soon as i open the interface tool the same error appears, it have never happened to me with any addon,  i have updated win 7, and uninstalled and then installed again visual c++ redistributable packages for visual studio 2015 and also 2016, because in my research i found that the error is related to that program, and still happening the same.

i hope you can give me an answer, since i have been looking my self for one since your last comment.

    best regards,
    Nico

    Hi Nico,

Now that error is for GIT, but the first one most definitely was not.

It looks like the c++ runtimes are not installing on the system. Can you copy and paste the error message as text so I can translate it in Google and tell you what to do.

    Thx

    Steve

  • yes, sorry i didnt realize it was in spanish, what it says is the following:

"the program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. try reinstalling the program to correct this problem"

since that i have been trying to reinstall  Visual C++ 2015 redistributable (X64) many times, and it keeps showing me an installation error, so i have tried to update windows and also turning off the antivirus while installing it and nothing, it seems like the installer is not finding the correct folders.

    regards,
    Nico

  • Hi Nico,

Try running these two files and let me know what errors you get if any. Best to run them as administrator.

  • hello Steve, i have solved the problem with the installation error of the Visual C++ 2015 redistributable (X64) and also the error message "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing" the problem was that visual C++ 2015 works with win7 Service pack1. there was an error in my windows update that didnt let it download the sp1, ant it was when i run my windows troubleshooting when i fount out that i didnt have sp1 installed.
once i installed SP1 the visual C++ 2015 worked fine as well as GIT X-plane.

GIT fsx was still showing me an error "VCRUNTIME140.DLL missing" which i solved installing the Visual c++ 2015 Redistributable x86 (32bits) even in the system was 64bit, it made the error disappear but a new error appear.

the new error was "MSVCR120D.DLL which was solved Installing Visual C++ 2013 redistributable.

    thanks for your help!
    best regards.

    Nico

PD: sorry for the bad english!
  • by the way is there any chance you can rename the post as Error api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll, VCRUNTIME140.DLL, MSVCR120D.DLL missing SOLVED.

    thanks,
    Nico
