Detective test button - 2.4.1.0

Hey Steve.

I seem to be having trouble with the "test bespoke event button" not working properly.  It doesn't seem to do anything at times. I've tried it on a few profiles  and it's not doing anything, the bespoke event doesn't fire and I see nothing change in detective but if I set my bespoke event to a button it works.

    Hey Steve

I'm going to release a new version tomorrow so if you can tell me what tasks you're are using in your Bespoke Events I can check for any errors tomorrow and fix before I issue the new release.

    Thx

    Steve

  • I just updated my P3D to v 3.3 and it removed the run as admin permissions so GIT was run as admin and P3D not. I turned it off for both and everything seems to be ok now...my bad.

  • No worries mate!

    Best wishes

  • Well I thought it was working. It seems to be hit and miss.

I'm just making a toggle with a couple if statements and a couple of set statements. Just using the SC var  AUTOPILOT _AIRSPEED_HOLD

  • Remember a lot of SC variables are read only. The one you are using certainly is read only.

    Best wishes

    Steve

  • Ahh I had forgotten about that as I hardly ever need to use SC vars.

    I even had it bookmarked.

If anyone else reads this and is curious, check this HERE for P3D and HERE for FSX.

It tells which ones are writable and which are not. Pretty much the same between P3D and FSX.
