Data display in Detective
After messing around a bit with DRT and DRE for X-Plane I kind of like the static display of all detected variables in a list with only the variables changing instead of scrolling by.
Detective works great if you know WHAT you are looking for , but a lot of times I find myself trying to sniff out undocumented lvars or datarefs.
I find it time consuming to have to hide everything I don't want to see and a lot of times I'm not sure what I'm looking for until I see it or see a change of a variable because the dev named it funny or they didn't provide datarefs.txt
DRT took it up a notch with an option to just display changed variables and a little search box to cut down what is displayed etc. and then fade out the color as the data displayed gets stale. This really cuts down on time spent playing detective
I know it's a lot to ask but is it something you may consider enhancing the detective to be more like that in the future?
