Updated profile to work with the recently released V1.5 of the aircraft. Seems to work with XP 11 as well

  • Had to do a small fix because GIT deleted some events for the EFIS range. It was working on my end but didn't end up in the export for some reason.

This should work with the 1.4 and 1.5 versions ( just tested with their 1.51 also) so there is no need for 2 files anymore. I think it had to do with the way GIT was reading some datarefs

Do you have a version that works with 1.71 of GIT?

Here are some of the errors.  1.51 of plane and 1.71 of GIT.
  • Sometimes that error comes up. I think there is still a bug in GIT but I'm not sure why sometimes it deletes the events and sometimes it runs fine

You'll have to reload the profile again. Restart x-plane and GIT,make sure you have " monitor Dre Private datarefs checked in GIT settings and also make sure you don't try to use dataref tool or dataref editor at the same time.

  • Tried 3x's and it worked, kind of.  The HDG SEL doesn't work though.  Attached the GIT Tabs

Is the GIT plugin supposed to show up in XP11?  It is not currently in mine (I have it installed in the plugin folder).  Since I've installed this latest version it has not asked me to put in a serial number or anything, don't know if that's part of the issue either.
  • let me check the heading select fuction. It could be my export got corrupted.

    Thanks for finding that

Ok this is fixed, somehow my profile got reverted to an old version,  the logic for the heading rotary is as follows:

Push in hold  and turn left or right is the bank angle increase/decrease

    quick push is heading select

Note: On the MCPPro heading select is the heading hold button of the 747, the heading select is the quick push of the sel button in the middle of the heading knob and that is how I modeled it here.(pushing the knob)

  • Excellent, thank you!
  • Works wonderfully with the 748i but not with the 748F - Not sure what the difference would be, any ideas?  By the way, this is the first time I have ever had the MCPPro work with any SSG stuff.  I appreciate it!

You can either shorten the name so that it recognises both (SSG-748) or simply load the F and then load the profile manually again. Instructions on shotening the name are on this website
