GIT Tool and X-Plane 11
I'm new to X-Plane and purchased the GIT to use with my GoFlight modules GF-P8 and GF-T8.
Does the GIT work with X-Plane 11?
I installed it outside of X-Plane and outside of the Program Files Directory. Does it need to be installed in the plug-in folder of X-Plane?
When I run the GoFlight Interface Tool an Application Halted error box opens. The only line in this error box that I can understand is that it can't find the file x-plane_install_10.txt file. And then two more error boxes come up and the application closes.
Can someone help me get this to work? I'm at a loss and would very much appreciate it.

Hi,
No it does not work with X-Plane 11 at the moment. A new version of GIT will be released shortly with X-Plane 11 support. If you have X-Plane 10 installed it does work with 11 but with some oddities, however you have to manually copy the plugin over from the X-Plane 10 directory to X-Plane 11.
Best wishes

What directory should GIT be installed into? I was confused about this but it may become clear with the new version.
You can install GIT where ever you like. The installation program does not recognise X-Plane 11 and so does not prompt for the location for installing the GIT plugin that GIT uses.
