Hi Jeff,
Firstly GIT has all GoFlight devices disabled by default. You must enable what you want to use. Secondly only some devices automatically configure for the NGX and 77X - namely the MCP PRO, MCP, EFIS, MESM, GF46, LGT, LGTII.
The GF166 radios can be automatically configured by choosing either COM, NAV or ADF on the GF166 tab for each device and the SECM can be automatically configured by pressing the FS Default button.
Other than that, its read the manual to learn how to manually configure additional devices.
Best wishes

Hi Jeff,
It may or may not help you by looking at the SDK file. Although its in C++, the first part list events and variables and provides some useful hints on what data is contained in them. The file is <your flight sim directory>\PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\SDK\PMDG_NGX_SDK.h
The first parts of this article will also help you track down the correct events and variables: http://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git/19-operating/36-configuring-goflight-devices-additional-information-pmdg-ngx.html

Hi Jeff,
Since Windows 8 upwards, Microsoft changed some things in Direct X which broke the LED's on GoFlight gear. Goflight produced a fix for this, but in Windows 10 it can be buggy.
Do this: In the GoFlight drivers directory you should find a file called GFWindows8Fixer.cmd. Unplug your GF devices with LED's, run the file as administrator and then plug the devices back in. GFConfig should light the first LED when you click on each device.

OK, do me a screen shot showing one of your P8 button configs where the LED doesn't work.
Thx
Steve
Jeff
It won't let me watch the video. Says it's private. I need to see your config so I can validate you have set things up correctly (999 times out of 1000 its incorrect programming of GIT). Just give me one example so I can check it out.
Best wishes

OK, I have looked at the DATA_WARN_SWITCH_MASTER_CAUTION_LEFT example and apart from using 0 instead of 1, it looks OK.
This now points to you using an older version of the NGX. Although the Events stayed compatible across NGX versions, the data structure containing variables changed. GIT only works with the very latest version of the NGX. Please check and update.
Thx
Steve
If the above doesn't apply, check the FAQ item called "My MCP PRO or MCP Advanced is not updating its display (just showing zeroes)".
Although you do not have the MCP PRO or MCP the issues will affect your devices in the same way i.e. no LED's. The FAQ is here: http://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git/16-installation/70-faq-goflight-interface-tool.html

Can you go into the CDU and get the PMDG version number and post it here.
You do not have the NGX set as your default plane?
Thx
Steve
Jeff
"Pmdg as the default plane that show up on screen when starting". That is the problem. The PMDG SDK has a bug in it - admitted by PMDG. You cannot have the NGX as the default plane - its breaks the PMDG SDK.
You can try loading it as default, then load a Microsoft default plane and then load the NGX again - sometimes that fixes the PMDG bug.
Ill try to load PMDG then a Default and go back into PMDG. Crossing finger that will work.
Can you verify that the LED's physically work either by pressing the Identify button on the devices tab in GIT or using GFConfig and clicking on each device.
Thx
Steve
