IXEG 737 Vertical Speed display is blank when active

Hi... just purchased GIT for X-Plane and imported Steve McNitt's config for the IXEG 737 via the import wizard - thanks Steve. All working very well with the exception of the vertical speed display on the MCP Pro - I set an altitude, press the V/S button then roll the vertical speed control on the MCP to set my descent rate. The selected decent rate is displayed and active on the MCP in the 3D virtual cockpit but the MCP Pro hardware display is blank.

I'm using XPlane 10 (latest) and current GIT version (1.8).

Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

  • You will need to ask Steve McNitt. He is on this forum as Slayer.

    Best wishes

  • Hi I actually just used the import wizard and reloaded this for XP11 /IXEG and it's working as expected. I suggest to use the import wizard and reload the profile again. VS will be blank until VS is activated, when the program initializes sometimes it takes a sec for the MCP to catch up but after that it should work fine,

PS if you download from this websites download section I suggest to rename the file B733.zip, makes the wizard much easier to use.

  • thanks for your reply Steve. I uninstalled v1.8 and went back to 1.7 as I'm using currently only using XP10 - VS now working. Used your B733.zip rename tip - works very nicely - thanks :)
