GoFlight Interface Tool 1.8.0.0 for X-Plane

Hello,

Might someone be able to tell me how do I update my XP interface tool to 1.8.0.0? I currently have 1.4 version.

Thank you,

Scott

  • Thanks Steve will do!!!
  • Thanks Steve worked like a charm!!!...I have another request please?

I wish to configure my 2 GF166's to NAV1 and NAV2 to as close as possible to real KING KX-155's. That being only to use the center button to flip flop the frequencies.  However I cannot figure out how to do this....the left and right buttons still are active.

QUESTION: How do I render the left and right buttons to do nothing, and program the center button to flip/flop the frequencies.

    Thanks,
    Scott
  • Hi Scott,

Auto configure both the GF166's by pressing the NAV button for each device. For the GF166 NAV1, remove all the events and datarefs relating to switching between NAV1 and 2.

For the GF166 NAV2, change any NAV1 event and dataref to the NAV2 equivalent and remove anything else not needed.

  • Steve,

    Thanks.

"Auto configure both the GF166's by pressing the NAV button for each device"  Please correct me here as I am going from memory here but I believe that when I configure the GF166 a prompt comes up on the screen and asks if I want to go to default settings? Do I click yes? or no...

"remove all the events and datarefs relating to switching between NAV1 and 2".

Not sure how to do this - please explain.

    Regards and thanks! Scott

  • Hi Scott,

You must have the plane loaded that you wish to make the changes too. Then click the COM button and answer Yes. After that choose each Input Event in turn and look at the events and datarefs displayed. Simply change or select None where applicable.

    Best wishes
