Settings Not Saving

Hi - I am a newish user. Bought the GoFlight Interface Tool a couple of weeks ago. First of all a big thanks for this hugely useful software, and to Slayer for the Majestic Device Configuration and Rob Ainscough for the tutorial video which has helped me get started.  I have a dual install of FSX Acceleration and FSX-SE under Windows 10. I am running the GoFlight Interface Tool (as administrator) for FSX Acceleration.  My problem is my settings aren't being saved.  Every time I launch the GoFlight Interface Tool all my GoFlight devices are disabled.  I enable them all but this isn't being saved so next time I start up the GoFlight Interface Tool they are all disabled again.  My settings file is at C:\ Users\Rich\Documents \GoFlight Interface Tool\Settings.  It shows my devices as enabled.  I've tried going to the settings page and clicking save but nothing visible happens and the settings file isn't updated.  I've uninstalled/reinstalled a couple of times now but that hasn't solved it.  The tool is working great when I'm flying in FSX.  Using the MCP Pro to control the Majestic Dash 8 is really immersive  but its frustrating having to enable my 8 GoFlight devices every time I launch the GoFlight Interface Tool.  Any ideas on how I can solve this?

Thanks

  • Hi Rich,

I think you are misreading the user interface. It may appear as if its disabled when first loaded, but the status is only updated once a device is selected from the drop down list. So internally it is actually enabled.

    Best wishes

  • Thanks Steve - I think I've got that!
