Engravity CDU pre-purchase questions?
I've been looking at FlightDeck solutions CDU but didn't like how they require VGA hookup (acts like a separate monitor) ... just too much load on the CPU/GPU. So I checked out the Engravity CDU and it doesn't required VGA hookup, self contained and used NIC (ethernet) for communication. I really like this idea.
It obviously costs more than the FlightDeck CDU unit (over twice as much to be exact).
My questions for anyone using the Engravity:
1. Their units appear to be on permanent backorder ... are they still in business? If so, ETA on typical delivery times?
2. Support for 737, 777, and 747 PMDG aircraft out of the box is fantastic with Steve's interface, can the same interface be use on any other aircraft (i.e. MJC or Airbus)?
3. How reliable and durable is the unit?
4. Plans to update the Engravity CDU interface for "future" 
platforms?

Hi Rob,
My interface only works with the older version 1 units (USB and green screen). The new colour version of the unit only supports the NGX at the moment.
