GF166 Buttons do not trigger custom BEs on the ON event

Hi Steve,

I am using GIT for X-Plane 1.7.1 and I have noticed that custom Bespoke Events cannot be triggered on the ON input event of the GF166 buttons. Only what is in the default menu (including GF166_CONTROLSx type pre-defined events) can be triggered. Luckily, the workaround is to use the OFF input event of a GF166 button with any custom Bespoke Event. This seems like a bug. Why would it be possible to trigger a custom BE on the OFF event, but not on the ON event on a GF166 button? Can you please confirm?

regards
Martin

  • I'll look into Martin as it does sound like a bug.

    Thx

  • Hi Steve,

Thanks for fixing the ON event described above. I noticed a few days ago the above problem is still occurring for the GF166 button HOLD event. In other words, OFF and ON can now trigger custom BEs, but HOLD still cannot. Any chance of confirming/fixing this for HOLD in the future. Thank you.

    regards
    Martin
  • I'll add it to my work list - shouldn't be a problem.
