How to save a profile

Hello
How to save a profile for the PM737-800 P3DV4 PMDG and another for the B737-600 P3DV4 PMDG.

  • Hi,

The configs are saved automatically when you quit or click Save Settings on the settings tab. If you wish to have different configs for each aircraft type then you need to read the Aircraft Name section here: https://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/support/user-guide/user-guide-git/19-operating/23-the-settings-tab.html

  • There are differences between the B737-800 and the B737-600, but I have only one file PMDG 737. When saving there is no new file, if I modify a command for the 600 it is Also modified for the 800.
  • There will only ever be one file as its an XML file and each aircraft is stored in the file under a different XML section.

The NGX full aircraft name is PMDG 737-{model}NGX e.g. PMDG 737-800NGX. The short name defaults to PMDG 737 in the aircraft settings so all NGX models are seen as the same. If you change the aircraft name when a particular model is loaded it should save those settings for the particular model. E.g. change PMDG 737 to PMDG 737-600. Repeat for each model you want different settings for.

    Best wishes
