P3D v4 and GIT v3.3.0.1 lockup at P3D interface
Hi Steve,
As above I'm using P3D v4.0.28.21686 Academic and GIT v3.3.0.1. Both are activated as Administrator.
First I load GIT and everything appears fine. Goflight Status is green showing both my GoFlight modules, MCP and LGTII.
When I load P3D, just prior to the interface screen, ie. the screen selecting location, aircraft etc. the GIT shows the SimConnect and Aircraft status as green, then almost immediately the GoFlight and Aircraft status lights turns red, the SimConnect status turns yellow and the GIT freezes only being able to close it via Task Manager.
Is there a simple solution your aware of, or other information I may need to provide.
Cheers
Graham

Other people have had issues but not lock ups. I think all the updates PMDG have released lately sometimes mess things up. An uninstall of the PMDG aircraft and then a new install using the latest version has resolved these issues recently.
Best wishes
Steve
I'm running P3D v4.0.28.21686, PMDG 737NGX V1.17 and GIT v3.3.0.1, all latest updates I believe.
As I've already reported it appears to only be the PMDG products. The GIT appears to work fine with other aircraft.
If there's any testing I can do which may help overcome the issue for you, and possibly other customers, I'm open to suggestions.
Cheers

v1.17 of the NGX is far to old. The latest is v1.20
Best wishes
Steve
Firstly my apologies. The NGX version is 1.20.8443, the 1.17 version relates to the PMDG Ops Center.
I'm not using the Aerosoft version. The NGX is dowloaded direct from the PMDG site.
At this point, I'm trying a variety of things. If I have any success I'll post what I think may have been the issue.
Cheers
Graham
