GIT V3.3.0.1 (p3D V4) - Imports on modules not working and a few other issues?

Hi Steve,

Have several strange issues tonight:

1. Bespoke import works fine, but when I try to import a module (T8 or RP48R) that I exported yesterday, nothing is being assigned to the controls. Checked the Imported .xml file (Aerosoft CRJ-700_GFRP48-5.xml) and it contains the correct entries I saved yesterday.
2. Bespokes and module settings are not being automatically loaded when the aircraft loads in P3D V4

What I see in the log:
21:12:44 SimConnect: Exception Received: ERROR
21:12:44 SimConnect Message Processing Finished
21:12:44 GoFlight Connection Starting.....
21:12:45 SimConnect Connection Starting.....
21:12:46 GoFlight Connection Started
21:12:46 SimConnect Message Processing Started
21:12:46 SimConnect Connection Started
21:12:46 Aircraft Connection Starting.....
21:12:46 SimConnect: Event Received: Aircraft Loaded/Flight Loaded
21:12:46 SimConnect: Event Received: SIM, 1
21:12:46 SimConnect: Event Received: PAUSE, 0
21:12:49 FSUIPC: Connection Failed: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:8385
21:12:49 Aircraft Connection Started
21:12:49 Simconnect Version: 3.4.0.0
21:12:49 Aircraft FullName: Aerosoft CRJ-700

SimConnect Version 3.4.0.0? Shouldn't that be SimConnect V4.0.0.0 for P3D V4?

The About dialog show "GoFlight Interface Tool P3Dv4 ... Version 3.3.0.1" so I did install the correct version and using the correct version.

So I shutdown GIT. Wait a minute or so, then fired up GIT again. It still didn't load the detected aircraft, so I manually tried to import Bespokes and module assignments .. this time around both worked! Odd, test out the modules and they all worked.

So, figured I'd try out the SECM again, assigned the Bespokes and it worked!!

Cheers, Rob.

  • Ok Rob, I'll do some testing along with the SECM and see if I can mimic the problem

Version 3.4 is correct. GIT is still a 32bit app, only the backend dll has been updated to 64bit.

    Best wishes

FYI, this is on a Win10 Pro 1703 with latest windows updates (two of those KB updates have messed up a few things that Microsoft have acknowledge but no fix yet, one of them being EDGE which I don't use). I don't know if it's relevant to this issue, but thought it prudent I provide that information. P3D V4 and GIT are both set to "Run as Admin".

GIT and GF are both installed in "D:\GoFlight".

    Cheers, Rob.
  • Hi Rob,

Tried to re create this issue without success. Any advise on how to replicate with default aircraft?

    Thx
    Steve
  • Hi Steve,

I've not had the issue since working with P3D V4.1 ... also downloaded your 3.4.0.0 today and it's working well, no issues. Like the flashy background for Detective now :)

Same applies to the SECM, all good.

    Cheers, Rob.
  • Ok thanks for letting me know. I have just released a new version that fixes an issue with selectors on PMDG aircraft.
  • Ok, will get 3.4.1.0. Thanks again.
