GF-LGT

Win7 X-plane 11.10b4 GIT 2.0.2.0
Love the search feature.
Only one problem I seem to have with this is the gear lights have stopped working on all aircraft which worked prior to 2.0.2.0, Anything changed that would cause this ?? Everything else works great.

  • Hi Steve,
Some more information. When I turn the power on to the aircraft, my gear lights come on as red (or not at all).

While you're looking at the GF-LGT, is it possible to get a GEAR-OFF event added. The device has an indent for the OFF position.
    Thanks.

  • Hi Steve, Apologies logs were the wrong ones.
Update, blame the beta from X-plane, your 2.0.3.0 works ok with X-Plane 11.05. Something they have done cripples the LGT lights with the latest beta.

Dave, the Drop down menu has the gear off position already.
  • Hi,
I'm using the wrong terminology. I shouldn't have said event, it should be Input. I've attached a screenshot of the dropdown for the Input fields on the LGT tab. This is something that I should raise in the Product Suggestions thread.
In terms of landing gear lights, I still have no lights when I turn power on. (I use AV_ENABLED). I'm using Zibo's 3.20z and X-Plane 11.05.

    Thanks.

  • What is wrong with the BUTTON_GEARDOWN and BUTTON_GEARUP inputs?

  • Hi Steve,
The gear lever works as expected. The gear lights are not functioning correctly. (I've attached the exported XML file for the GF-LGT II).
I use the /sim/aircraft/parts/acf_gear_deploy[0] for GEARLEFT, [1] for GEARNOSE and [2] for GEARRIGHT. These are the standard Default FS settings. As far as I can tell, Zibo hasn't exposed any new datarefs to replace these.

After I start 'Cold & Dark' I turn the battery on to bring everything to life. The gear lights either illuminate in red or nothing at all. X-Plane shows 3 green. I've also attach the LGT tab and DatarefEditor displaying the acf_gear_deploy[0] value (which is 1.000000).

Let me know anything else you'd like me to provide.

    Thanks.

  • Rechecked, should have kept quite. 2.0.2.0 and 2.0.3.0 did not work in X_plane 11.05 same as above with Dave the 3 gear lights stay red. I forgot I still had a older Git Folder in the resources/plugin that I had not removed.

11.10b4 Git 2.0.3.0 lights are dead, use old win.xpl in plugins all ok, the one I used from my working XP 11.05 Backup. Huge difference in size. win.xpl dated 7/23/2017 74kb
  • Thanks for the info.
  • OK, found the bug. It due to an issue in the plugin where all array datarefs are not working. I will have an update out tomorrow.

    Best wishes
