1st December: A new version of the GoFlight Interface Tool for MSFS is now available.
12th November: A new version of the GoFlight Interface Tool for X-Plane is now available.
6th June: A new version of Virtual Flight Sim Hardware is now available (huge update)
21st November: A new version of the GoFlight Interface Tool for FSX/FSXSE/P3D is now available.
Nothing works
OK,
I installed everything and it is in the goflight folder.
I open the interface tool and it looks OK. I open the FSX SE sim and I get 3 green lights. Then everything locks up. Sim and all. It does show all of my modules on the top tabs. But I can't click on anything. I have to use task manager to shut them off
I am using surround with Nvidia.
I turned surround off and tried using tool in separate window still locks up.
System is windows 10
At this point I can't do anything with the software at all.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Hans

What version of the GIT are you using and what version of the GoFlight Drivers are you using?
Best wishes

Thanks

Surround is on 3 monitors in case that means anything. I was going to hook up a 4th monitor outside of surround and put the GIT on that monitor and see if it did anything.
I'll upgrade to newest version tonight when I get home from work.
Thanks,
Hans

Should it all run ok if I turn off surround and put the VC on one monitor and the GIT on another? Maybe I am just not setting things up right to start with. It is all brand new to me.
I bought a GOflight airline pilot console and am just trying to set it all up. So far it has been very frustrating as the only way I can get any of it to work is with the goflight config software and even then it is hit or miss. The 166s lock up if I turn the MCP rotary to fast, sometimes the 166s don't even turn on at start up, or at least some of them don't.
I'm sure it will all work out but I have never had so much trouble getting something so expensive to work.
The MCP PRO had the same issue until GoFlight updated their firmware to A25 and the lockups stopped. I think GoFlight need to do the same firmware upgrade to GF166 and the GF46, but I'm not sure they are even aware of the problem or prepared to acknowledge the problem (a gentleman here a few weeks ago, could not get his GF166's or GF46 to be reliable at all and GoFlight blamed Windows 10 and his system because their test software worked OK; but I know this issue has been around since 2008 and Windows 7).
GIT doesn't care about surround, it only needs to talk to the dll in the flight sim and Simconnect. The version I uploaded last night has a specific dll for FSX SE now, so I think it will solve your problem.

I loaded latest last night and now none of the modules show up in GIT.

I've about had it with this mess. It is doing the same thing no matter what I do.
None of the modules come up on the panel unless the goflight software is running. The only way I can make anything work is though their software. I can't get the pollypot stuff to do anything at all.
If you want to try anything remotely, have at it.
