A couple of warnings, move the RP46 rotaries slowly when using VOL1 and VOL2 and AP ROLL. The clock mapping sometimes works and sometimes doesn't work, I haven't been able to determine why. The EGT peak dial is NOT mapped, I talked to the developer of the aircraft and I could not locate the DataRef he suggested should exist for the peak/needle ... shame since lean peak is part of the checklist process for this aircraft, oh well, have to use the mouse.

Steve feel free to put these files in your downloads section for XPlane11

Cheers, Rob.

  • Hi Rob,

What was the missing Dataref as I can test the code and make sure GIT is not screening it out.

    Best wishes

  • Hi Steve,

This is the response I got from Martyn over at JF:

    "Hi Rob,

These are the datarefs for the EGT controls in the Arrow III for XP11:

    Needle: "sim/cockpit2/engine/indicators/EGT_deg_C[0]"
    Knob (and red needle): "thranda/electrical/EGT[0]"

    Thanks
    Martyn"

GIT shows "thranda/electrical/EGT" but it has NO entries for each engine, i.e. EGT[0] - engine 1, EGT[1] - engine 2 ... upto I think EGT[9] is the limit for XP11.

    Cheers, Rob.
  • Hi Rob,

The dataref "sim/cockpit2/engine/indicators/EGT_deg_C[0]" is a standard Dataref so won't show up in "Custom". You need to click the Standard button in Detective and then search for it.

    Best wishes
    Steve
  • Excellent, I'll give that a try. Thank you sir.

    Cheers, Rob.
