2.0.1131.0 GIT + MCPPRO + PMDG NGX on Multiplayer

I can't seem to get the MCPpro with the NGX working using the latest GIT, nor the PMDG interface - BUT this is only  in multiplayer. In single player the NGX is working fine.

All the functions work, just the displays all stay at zero's ( like what happens when you reload without restarting)

Again, I've got everything set up properly, all other aircraft work fine in multiplayer and the displays work and the MCPPRO is working fine in single player as well with the NGX.

I'm not sure if this is a bug in the software or a limit of PMDG SDK . Any help would be appreciated

Also updated my goflight driver to the latest  ( 2.24 )

    Hi,

I have not tested the software in multi-player mode.

Has it ever worked in multi-player? If so, what versions of the software did you use and what has changed on your system?

    Thx

Ok a little clarification, I did some more testing and I was wrong about it only being an PMDG/multiplayer issue:

If I use GFConfig and set to default FSX aircraft - Everything works in single player and multiplayer

If I use GIT and set for compatible addon, everything works in single player just fine, including the PMDG

If I use GIT in multiplayer all the buttons and switches are working and I am able to configure them etc BUT the GFMCPPRO either displays all zeroes or does not work at all - this is for all defaults and payware.

It seems to be some issue with simconnect/GIT and multiplayer.

The servers I fly on are all using FSOpen ((http://www.fsopen.co.uk/)  since gamespy is no longer around) if this matters. There is no client software to interfere, all you do is connect as if you were flying on a LAN.

PS: I'm not sure if it ever worked as I've only had the GF hardware for a few months. It appears to be the same issue that happens in single player when you reload a PMDG without restarting FSX first

Ok, you'll have to leave it with it with me. I'll try using fsopen.co.uk and see if I can recreate the problem.

    Thx

Another bit of info for troubleshooting: If I set  FSX databridge <Disabled>True  in exe.xml and also disable the Goflight Interface module.dll in exe.xml, I can manually load  the GFDevFSX.exe  after I loaded the sim and airplane and waited for the aircraft to initialize - the display will work but not sync with the PMDG (i.e. I dial the alt. rotary and it will increment in 100's on the MCPPro but will not start out 10k as is show in the sim)

If I knew how to load the .dll after the airplane was loaded into the sim it Might work.

Yet another update (sorry don't mean to be a bother):

SUCCESS - I did get it working on multiplayer. After talking with John at GF I started trying to figure out different combinations of loading the bridge etc

    1) Loaded up GIT
    2) Loaded FSX, switch to multiplayer
    3) Connect to server, choose your airport, pick the PMDG, unpause the game, let it load and initialize, don't touch anything until the log shows in GIT: Synchronising Switches & Selectors Complete

At this point everything will all be zeros - MCPPRO will work but displays will not

    4) Hit esc and end the flight but do not change the aircraft or livery and do not disconnect from the server.
    5) Hit join session again  -  Now all displays will sync and start working

If you have to exit FSX you have to  double load like this every time - It is a bit strange considering PMDG says not to double load the aircraft like this but it is the only way I was able to get it working in multiplayer...
