PMDG Aircrafts & GF panels
Hi Steve & Co & Fellow simmers,
Im new in this forum, so let me first say hello to everyone. Im a flightsim enthusiast from Finland, have been addicted to it since 2009 or so. So Im actually quite new in this hobby. Im using FSX, with windows 7, 64 bit. The list of my add-ons is HUGE, so Im not going into that... at least at this point.
Anyway, I have multiple GF-Panels 6x GF-T8, 2x GF-P8, 1x GF-RP48 & 1x GF-LGTII. At the moment I have only two panels connected to my sim, and programmed via FSUIPC and mostly with the keyboard shortcuts possibilities (set in the PMDG FMC Options). So far it works quite OK, however, Ive heard from Pete Dowson (FSUIPC) that programming panels with keyboard assignments are not recommended. Im also using some LUA plugins in order to get the lights work correctly on the panels....
Now im in the point where I would like to add also the rest of the panels to my rig and Im now building a genreal home cockpit. Now, my questions would be:
- What would be the best way to program the panels as Im using all the PMDG ac models?
- I know there is the interface tool for NGX, have not tried it yet as I heard that if im using FSUIPC (which I am) I should not use any other software in order to avoid conflicts?
- If I have 10 panels, am I ok connecting those via USB hub or do I need to start planning something else?
I would appreciate any tips from anyone of you who might be reading this.
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions
Thanks in advance
Cheers

Many thanks for the quick reply.
Did I understand correctly, that GIT can be used for example with PMDG MD-11,747 & 777 and that would be easiest way of approach?
I will look into this - many thanks for the quick help!
Cheers
Thomas
All the best!
