Goflight MCP and Xplane 11

I can't seem to get the Goflight MCP working. Some of the knobs work(Heading, Course, IAS/MACH) but many of the other are not responding. I am using the X737 and imported the conf file for that aircraft

  • MCP or MCP PRO?

Which specific 737 are you referring to?

    Thx
    Steve
  • I downloaded the EADT X737 V5. All the LED's light up but none of the switches or knobs work. I enabled both the MCPPRO and EFIS
  • Run the import wizard again. Then check the log tab in GIT for any errors.
  • 12:51:59 GIP: Unable to Monitor DataRef x737/systems/MCP/OBS2_value - 20002
12:53:42 GIP - Message Processor Exception: The process cannot access the file 'F:\X-Plane 11\Aircraft\x737-800\DREDataRefs.txt' because it is being used by another process.
  • OK. Open up the zip file you used to import and copy 737 DREDataRefs.txt to the 'F:\X-Plane 11\Aircraft\x737-800' directory and then rename that file to DRE.txt

Re-run the import wizard. You will still see those errors but it should have fixed the problem.
  • Still not working. See Log

  • Arte you using the latest version of GIT from last week?
  • Not sure. Have to go to work now. Will check when I get back
  • OK, what I said above needs the latest version of GIT - it addresses this file issue that some irresponsible plugin developer has created.
  • Downloaded the latest version of GIT. Working fine now. Thank you.
Just one other question. When I push the ALT Hold button on my MCP it doesn't stay lighted but on my PFD it shows the ALT Hold active. Is this a bug?
  • It may be that the author of the config has not programmed the function correctly. Best check with them.

    Best wishes
    Steve
