MCP Pro lights not consistent

First off I apologize if the category is wrong. I wasnt sure which one to pick.

I run Xplane 11 on steam. IXEG 737. It is NOT the latest update released a few weeks ago. I downloaded the IXEG profile by Slayer (?)
The panel lights up like it should. BUT what i notice is that the LEDS dont always come on the GF-MCP Pro. For instance if I turn on the A/T ARM switch, on the GF-MCP Pro, it will correctly send the signal to the sim and the switch moves correctly on the sim and it's (sim) light comes on above the sim switch. But the light on the GF-MCP Pro itself is not consistent. It MAY come on...it may not. Sometimes it comes on but then when I turn it off the light stays on on the GF-MCP Pro.....if i flick on and off a few times then it will turn off. So I am confused...am I doing something wrong ?

    It may be that the profile has become out of date with the updates made by IXEG. Perhaps Slayer can shed some light on this as I don't have the plane.

    I'm running Zibo's B737. Have had the same issue (but not with the A/T switch). The light for the FD switch sometimes doesn't come. Switch off and on again and it works. For me it's infrequent so I haven't worried about it.
    The buttons are also a little problematic. I've found adjusting the settings helps. Shorten the button hold time.

    Probably a question for Steve, but what are the implications if I set the button hold time to zero?

    There are news for this problem that still occurs even with the latest update of GIT ?
    What can be done to avoid this constant problem?

    It may that the wrong Dataref is being used in the config for the aircraft or it could be a bug in GIT. I will add it to my work list for investigation.

    I perform these simple steps: 1) install the aircraft ixeg 737 2) install GIT 3) download from the site the profile created for ixeg aircraft 4) start xplane up to the cockpit 5) start GIT 6) from the panel install the profile ixeg following the wizard ... at this point I notice that the altitude slider moves 10 in 10 to each knob notch and the LEDs of the FD and A / T sometimes turn on and other times do not turn on
