P3DV4 IAS_MACH_BLANK

Hey Steve I'm struggling with IAS_MACH_BLANK on P3DV4. Can't seem to get it to work, can you verify if it works?

This new version of GIT seems to be a bit buggy as if it is retaining data after I change to a diff. lvar for display or if I for instance change a knob to "rotate" then go to another button or switch in the program and go back and find it reverted to "nothing" wondering if this is the cause of the blanking not working.

Got it working by switching the variable then exiting/restarting GIT...weird. What I can't still figure out is what the IAS_MACH_BLANK flag uses to determine to show airspeed or mach?

  • I'll look into the bug. This is from the user guide:

IAS_MACH_BLANK: Same as IAS_MACH, except if the values match the display blanks.
IAS_MACH: Will show the value as a decimal when its less than 1 or an integer when its greater. To be used with Autopilot IAS/MACH displays. The logic is built in an no Light Value needs to be provided.

    Best wishes
    Steve
