Update of the Goflight Interface tool for PMDG B747-400 and B747-8 ?
With the new update of the PMDG B747-400 and B747-8, the Goflight EFIS and MCP need some update, some functions are different in EFIS and the numbers are not shown in the MCP anymore. Can we expect an update anytime soon?
Thanks for your help,
Brgds, Hermann

Thanks for letting me know about this as I don't have the update as yet.
I will get GIT updated to support this aircraft, hopefully during the weekend.
Best wishes
Steve
I have also contacted the PMDG Support, they say it has something to do with the interface software because PMDG has done some changes to the SDK for the B747-400 and the B747-8.

I'm little delayed on producing the update as I've been unwell. The SDK has changed so GIT will not work properly until a produce code that supports the new SDK layout.
Best wishes

Get well first, the main thing is that the problem is identified, i was not sure if maybe i did something wrong.
All the best,
Hermann
I hope you feel better again, thanks for the update !!
Just a thought, because of its technical limitation the range button on the EFIS cannot be used on the PMDG 747-8, would it be possible to use the course button on the MCPPRO to zoom in and while in B747-8 configuration?, the course button is anyway not needed in the B747 and B777, only for the B737. As soon as the interface detects that you are using the B737, it could switch back to normal operation of the course button. What do you think?

- fixed?
- awaiting a change by Pollypot?
- awaiting an action by PMDG?
if we’re waiting on PMDG, do they know that?
thanks,
Mike Frantz
The EFIS range knob is still an issue because its no longer a Selector type, although the MCP PRO etc should work fine.
Best wishes

edit - here’s their reply:
Michael,
All the information are in our SDK. If he believes that there is an omission from the SDK he must open a ticket in order for the development team to check.

It means that one of your GF46's has gone off-line or been disconnected. The warning exists because you may loose config information for the missing GF46 if any exists. If you haven't configured the GF46 for the 747, you can safely click OK.
Best wishes
