GIT how to save configuration

Sorry this may be a noob question. I configured all of the switches on my T8 and when I restart my computer and go to drop down the device and enable it, my settings are gone and I have to reconfigure the switches. I will also have to reconfigure my MESM. How can I save the configuration so that it loads every time?

    It gets saved automatically and each config is aircraft specific. Are you positive its missing?

    I'll double check, but when I used the drop down menu to go to the device there were no saved functions on the switch.

    Note, it only saves when GIT exits. If GIT crashed it would have not have saved anything.
