GIT X-Plane crashes at start

I have not used my MCP-Pro and GIT for Xplane for a couple of weeks. When I tried to start GIT for X-Plane this morning I got an "Application halted" error message. This begins with the following:

"The invocation of the constructor on type "A.VF" that matches the specified binding constraints threw an exception"

further down it says:

"The cloud file provider is not running"

The full error message is attached as a JPEG.

I uninstalled the tool and re-installed the current (same) version 2.1.14.1 but got the identical error message when I started it, after entering my User Key.

None of this means anything to me at all - can someone explain?

Comments

  • OK. I carefully read the error message again and thought about the "cloud provider" bit. I hate OneDrive and have tried to get rid of it permanently. So I reloaded OneDrive and it immediately said I had deleted 22MB of files and asked if I wanted to delete them from OneDrive or restore them. So I restored them. And now GIT for X-Plane works. Go figure!
